Gosford Private Hospital
first glimpse sessions
In Bloom Photography is proud to be the resident newborn photographer for Gosford Private Hospital. Being able to provide studio quality images in the comfort of your hospital room saves you time and energy of having to visit a studio after discharge. These sessions capture natural and gently posed memories of your first days with your new baby.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR SESSION
For timeless images of your newborn, I suggest dressing your newborn in a simple, neutral coloured bodysuit that shows off their little hands and feet. If you have any wraps that you love, feel free to bring them out for the session too. They can be used to replace the sheets in the cot plus we can wrap your baby in them too. For mums, you can wear a pretty robe or simply comfortable clothes. There is no need for hair and makeup unless you really want to. Simply having a clean face and brushing your hair is enough. The focus of these sessions is on your baby and the bond you share.
First Glimpse photography services are available every Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, with first sessions starting at 10am. When I arrive in your room, I’ll open the blinds to bring as much light into the room as possible. I’ll also switch off overhead lights as they create unflattering yellow light in photos. I’ll also help to tidy up your room to reduce clutter and make for nicer photos. If you can have had fed your baby prior to the session, that will usually lead to a sleepy baby. If you would like to capture feeding photos, just let me know.
AFTER YOUR SESSION
With your permission, I will post a sneak peek of your session on my Facebook page. Once you tag yourselves and comment on the photo, your friends and family will be able to see the post and gush about your beautiful new baby! A gallery of images will then be provided to you within one week of the session, and you’ll be able to choose which size package you would like. Once I send through an invoice and your payment comes through, your order will be processed and you’ll soon have your baby’s gorgeous images.
