Capturing togetherness.

As your children grow and personalities emerge, there is no greater gift than to have portraits that capture them at different ages, and almost more importantly, have portraits with you as parents in photos with your children. Family sessions are held outdoors in the hour before sunset, and location options are discussed with you prior to the session. My sessions are more about you interacting with your family rather than looking at the camera and smiling (although I’ll still include those in your gallery).

When your children are toddlers, these sessions are mostly high energy, with lots of fun games to keep them giggling. As they grow into school aged children, the games remain but we can also delve deeper into capturing emotions that they feel for you. All ages include cuddles with parents!

Family sessions start from $350.

When is the best time for family photos?

  • If it’s been more than a year or two since your last family photos, then it’s time to get more. Children grow so quickly it’s crazy!

  • Yes, even if you want to wait to lose that weight first. Your children love you just as you are.

  • The time of year can make a difference to the feel of the photos - think of the clothing you want to wear. Summer and Spring can mean dresses and shorts, while Autumn and Winter would work best with layers and accessories. Sunset times also vary on the time of year, so if you have little ones who go to bed by 7pm and you don’t want to risk stretching their bedtime, then a 4pm session in Winter might be better for you (although most of the time they are super excited to be outside and are completely fine).

“I love Linda’s style”

“I love Linda’s style. Her photography is so natural, capturing the precious moments just when you didn’t think you’d get many great shots in a shoot, as working with young children isn’t easy- Linda proves that’s she a real PRO taking soooo many amazingly beautiful photos. We have used Linda for our family shoots a few times now, we’ll continue to as our girls grow.”
